TIME MANAGEMENT - I

Hello friends

Was a bit busy with the SHTYLE.fm, did a series of quizzes there now it is at a level of XVII. If possible try them to train your brain for lateral thinking.

Thought I’ll start with a new topic which plays a very important role in all our lives. TIME is something which each one of find difficult to manage.

My question to the audiences of my programmes – when I touch upon time management would be a very simple one. I ask them “have they ever known of a day which had more than 24 hours – even a few seconds or minutes or had this occurred any where else in this world?” The obvious answer is NO…. If you all accept to this, then I would like to ask “why are you saying that you could not find the time to do this or do that?”

Plan your time this is the most important aspect in time management. The next question would be How do I plan my time????

To plan some thing you should do some homework, that is try to log your activities and the time spent on each of them, do this for a very normal day of yours….

Of the 24 hours you have at your disposal see what activities consume most of your time…. Now you should do it on a sheet of paper don’t ever try to do this on your mind since the element of empathizing with your self gets in.

For a normal human being the sleeping time is 7 hours – don’t ever reduce this…
The official activities is normally 9 hours with an hour added to the normal 8 hour work time

Now the left over time for other activities apart from the above two is 8 hours, this EIGHT hours is the most crucial one for each one of us.

If we try to track this we will be in a position to find out the TIME WASTERS in our life…

TILL I MEET YOU ON THE NEXT POST DO TRY LOGGING YOUR ACTIVITIES FOR YOUR CRUCIAL 8 HOURS
